Salesforce Inc. seeks Software Engineering PMTS in San Francisco, CA: Job Duties: Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs. Update software or enhance existing software capabilities. Translate business requirements into technical requirements and collaborate with multiple stakeholders (Product Manager, UX designer, architects, and others) to refine those requirements. Independently spike on the high complexity design for a highly distributed cloud platform. Develop high-quality production-ready software for the cloud platform used by millions of users. Develop high complexity features independently for a massively dispersed cloud platform. Collaborate with one or more teams during code development. Provide oversight through active participation in code and design reviews for features delivered by other developers within their scrum team. Work with Customers and Stakeholders to develop features. Mentor other engineers. Set and meet reasonable commitments, deadlines, and high standards for the team. Continuously lead the efforts to improve the engineering best practices every release to keep high standard for software engineering at Salesforce. ˆHQ address additionally encompasses the following Salesforce locations in San Francisco: 350 Mission Street, 415 Mission Street, and 50 Fremont Street. The permanent position may be offered at any of these locations in San Francisco. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or closely related quantitative discipline and seven (7) years of progressively responsible experience in job offered or in any occupation in a related field. A related technical degree required (Computer Science, Engineering).
