The Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Product Manager with expertise in data analytics and SaaS environments to join our dynamic team. The Product Manager will play a crucial role in planning and developing a roadmap for our data initiatives through data analysis and insights. They will work closely with the VP of Product and CTO to identify opportunities to expand our data strategies and drive innovation in our data-driven products and services.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the VP of Product and CTO to define the data product strategy and roadmap aligned with the company’s overall goals and objectives.
  • Lead the ideation, planning, and execution of new data-driven product initiatives, working cross-functionally with engineering, design, marketing, and other stakeholders.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and opportunities for product enhancements and differentiation.
  • Drive decision-making through knowledge and execution of data analytics.
  • Gather requirements from internal and external stakeholders to define product features, functionality, and user experience.
  • Prioritize and manage the data-specific product backlog, ensuring clear communication of product priorities and timelines to the development team.
  • Work closely with the engineering team to ensure successful product delivery, addressing any technical challenges or constraints.
  • Define and monitor key product metrics to assess product performance and make data-driven decisions for continuous improvement.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data applications and SaaS environments.

Skillset:

  • Strong understanding of data technologies, data analytics, and data-driven products.
  • Proven experience building data analytics reporting and dashboards to drive business decisions.
  • Proven experience in planning and executing product roadmaps, from conception to launch.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including engineers, designers, and business stakeholders.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex concepts and ideas.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
  • Knowledge of data acquisition strategies, data integration, and data governance is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based technologies and platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is a plus.
  • A passion for data-driven innovation and a track record of delivering successful products in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Education and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • 3-5+ years of experience as a Product Manager, Business Analyst and/or Data Analyst.
  • 2-3+ years of experience working in Software/SaaS industry environments.
