Trility Consulting is seeking an experienced Senior Delivery Consultant to help our clients maximize their investment with us. You’ll do this by understanding their business, applying your skills to the project, and delivering value all along the way. As a Senior Delivery Consultant, you’ll leverage your breadth of experience to ensure and validate that the team frequently delivers tangible value to the client by working at the intersection of business value and technology enablement. You’ll need to understand where the client is, where they want to go, and how you and Trility can help them get there.

Put simply, you will use your consultant superpowers and toolkit to solve clients’ highest-consequence problems while being comfortable operating in the unknown at times.

We partner with clients to deliver value with them, not to them. On projects, Trility may use titles that resonate with clients to ensure understanding of your role from the start. Potential titles include, but are not limited to: Project Lead, Delivery Manager, Product Owner, Product Manager, Scrum Master, Business Analyst, Process Analyst, or Change Management Specialist. No matter the title, your role on a project encompasses the following:

This is a remote position with 1099 and W2 options.

What You Will Do

  • You are an influencer without authority and a true servant leader. You realize everyone can be a leader and that a title or role doesn’t drive that. You seek to be the most interested person in the room, not the most interesting.
  • Think in product value maximization terms and drive towards delivering business value for the client, either as the lead of the project or as a teammate.
  • Partner with Trility teammates and client stakeholders to help define and/or execute shared product visions while planning for and understanding the change management impacts.
  • You can answer and balance, “What does the contract say, what does the client say, and how are you going to navigate them if and when they are different?”
  • You turn client desires into digestible, deliverable, testable, demonstrable story maps; experience with Jira and Confluence; experience with Estimation, Planning, Prioritization, Feature Gathering, Risk Management, Scope Management, and Release Management.
  • You understand Agile/iterative development and delivery and have experience leading, defining, building, and implementing full lifecycle software products.
  • You approach problems with an analyst mindset having a reason behind every suggestion, improvement, or change by leveraging facts, processes, and data where appropriate.
  • Working with the client and account leader (Client Partner), help outline what success looks like and the plan for achieving it.
  • Where applicable, as a team, drive or own the buildout and maintenance of the project backlog, prioritization of work efforts, and the fulfillment of the work.
  • You are as comfortable working with senior clients (VP, C-Level) as you are individual contributors in the weeds of the project. You have great relational and communicative skills enabling you to build rapport, trust, and a positive team and company reputation while serving the client.
  • Be a trusted advisor to the client, your team, and company. Be what your team needs.
  • Regularly collaborate with our account leaders to understand landscape, opportunities, risks, and issues.
  • With a minimum 10 years of Agile Program/Project Management experience and/or Software Product Management, you have experience understanding client strategic initiatives, roadmaps, business problems, and goals.
  • Evidential experience and knowledge using concepts from the Agile Body of Knowledge, while journeying as a practitioner to master your craft.
