As an Associate Product Manager, you will play a crucial role in our company’s product development and management processes. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and assist in translating customer needs and market insights into innovative product solutions. A Day in a Life

As a Product Owner (Inbound Product Manager) at WatchGuard, you’ll work as a key influencer across the organization and drive the definition and delivery of next generation cybersecurity products.? Product Owners here take input from Market Owners (Outbound Product Manager) on industry landscapes, Sales on requested features and functionality, and channel partners and end consumers on understanding key pain points.? The Product Owner then works with engineering and User Experience on creating actionable material such as user flows, user stories, and product requirements.? Product Owners also guide the technical aspects of product delivery in coordination with Program Management, Technical Publications and Training, Customer Care and Support Engineering, and Business Enablement.? 

Position Responsibilities

  • Solution Definition: Responsible for defining the solution that serves the Market, including defining feature requirements and driving feature delivery.?
  • **Agile Leadership:?**Participate in engineering scrum teams as Product Owner by providing feature vision and direction throughout the product lifecycle. Write user stories, refine and prioritize backlog alongside Product Line Managers and engineering teams.
  • **Cross-functional Leadership:?**Serve as voice of the customer for feature-related interactions, including engineering, training and documentation, and product support.
  • Sales & Partner Support: Assist in RFP responses and provide customer opportunity enablement and support to Sales

Skills and Qualifications

  • We are looking for a detail-oriented and self-motivated individual who is passionate about technology, innovation, and customer-centric product development
  • The ideal candidate has a strong analytical approach, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Interest in picking up new technologies and trends
  • Ability to analyze product trends and be able to make data-driven decisions
  • Has had exposure to Product, Engineering, and/or Marketing functions
  • Experience in efficient decision-making and prioritizing conflicting needs
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Compensation

The base salary range for this position is $80,000 - $85,000 USD per year, exclusive of benefits. This position is also eligible for a bonus of 20% of the base salary. Your base salary compensation will be based on your individual skills, education, and experience. Please keep in mind that the above range is the full base salary range for this role; hiring at the maximum of the range is not typical in order to allow for future salary growth.
