The Role We Need:

PadSplit is looking for a Senior Product Manager to provide strategic leadership and vision for its product development initiatives in one our newly formed pods. We need someone who has deep industry knowledge and experience to drive innovation, prioritize features, and align product development efforts with business goals. This role is pivotal in guiding cross-functional teams, maximizing product value, and delivering exceptional user experiences that fuel company growth.

The Person We Are Looking For:

The ideal candidate is adept at navigating ambiguity, driving innovation, and rapidly iterating on product ideas to meet PadSplit market needs. We want someone who embodies a blend of visionary leadership, entrepreneurial spirit, and strategic acumen. You must possess a strong track record of delivering successful products, inspiring cross-functional teams, and scaling products from conception to market launch in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while maintaining an optimistic attitude while easily (and happily) wearing many hats.

Here’s what you’ll do day-to-day:

  • Define and refine the product vision, strategy, and roadmap based on market analysis, customer feedback, and business goals.
  • Communicate the product vision, roadmap, and priorities effectively to stakeholders, including executives, development teams, and other departments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and sales, to ensure alignment and execution of the product strategy.
  • Prioritize features and enhancements based on customer needs, market trends, and business objectives, balancing short-term goals with long-term vision.
  • Conduct user research, interviews, and usability tests to gather insights and validate product ideas, ensuring a user-centric approach to product development.
  • Provide guidance and direction to development teams throughout the product development lifecycle, from ideation to launch and iteration.
  • Analyze product metrics, user feedback, and market data to measure product performance, identify areas for improvement, and inform product decisions.
  • Continuously iterate on the product based on feedback and data analysis, making incremental improvements to enhance user experience and drive product growth.

Here’s what you’ll need to be successful:

  • Deep understanding of acquisition KPIs and complex funnels
  • Demonstrated familiarity with digital marketing in areas of SEO strategy, emails, digital ads, etc
  • Ability to conduct experiments and analyze both quantitative and qualitative data to drive results
  • Experience leading multi-functional teams preferably in a marketplace environment
  • Engineering experience is preferred but not required
  • Creative thinker with the ability to view a problem from multiple perspectives
  • Results driven with an open-minded attitude and willingness to seek the best ideas to achieve optimal outcome for product and business (“Ideas over egos”)
  • Rapidly iterate on ideas through incremental tests and analyses focused on driving business impact
  • A combination of experience in a fast-paced startup and a well-established tech company: we’re looking for someone who is flexible, a self-starter and quick learner that can also bring best practices and knowledge from a larger company

Interview Process:

  • Your application will be reviewed for possible next steps by the Hiring Manager.
  • If you meet eligibility requirements, the next step would be a phone screen with a member of the PeopleOps team for about thirty (30) minutes.
  • If warranted, the next step would be a video interview with our VP of Product for one (1) hour.
  • If warranted, the next step would be a video panel interview with key stakeholders at PadSplit for two (2) hours.
  • The panel interview will require a candidate to work on an assessment where you will showcase your product management mindset to the panel for discussion.
  • If warranted, then we move to offer!
